BOMA OC: What company are you with?

Brandon: Sunny Hills Management Co, Inc.

BOMA OC: What services does your company provide?

Brandon: Sunny Hills Management Co., Inc. (SHM) is a professional property management and asset management company which has been in operation since 1993. The SHM real estate portfolio is approximately 4,200,000 rentable square feet and consists of 42 properties and 83 buildings all located in Southern California with assets in Orange County, Los Angeles County’s Southeast Region, Long Beach, South Bay, LAX vicinity, San Gabriel Valley, San Diego, and the Inland Empire.

BOMA OC: What are three lessons that you have learned the hard way?

Brandon: 

  1. Relationships are paramount in all aspects of this industry
  2. Its not who has the best idea/solution/product – it’s who can implement/deliver it the best and most efficiently
  3. There is no substitute for sweat equity
