Socks for Heroes Charity Silent Auction
BOMA Orange County chose Socks for Heroes because they 1) are a local charity 2) receive no federal funding and 3) support our military. While they have a national presence, Socks for Heroes is very much a “Mom and Pop” non-profit run by Carla and Jim Hogan. They take no salaries nor pay them. They conduct operations out of their home, keeping expenses to a minimum. 92 cents of every dollar is spent towards Socks for Heroes’ efforts.

Rules of Play

Shamble Format: All players will tee off on each hole. The team will then select the best or preferred tee shot, from which all players will then play their own ball for the remainder of the hole until their ball is holed. Note that all putts must be holed for a person’s score to count. Record the individual score on the provided scorecard. The two lowest scores will be counted as the team’s score. Double boogie is the max score.
